Focused ultrasound treats tremors from Parkinson’s disease!
The FDA recently approved a procedure to ease the trembling caused by Parkinson’s that doesn’t involve invasive surgery and cutting into a patient’s head.Dr. David Purger with IU Health told News 8 Monday morning more about the treatment, saying it’s completely incisionless, and has left many physicians who work with Parkinson’s patients “very excited.”
